-Morriston Neighbourhood Policing Team-
The Morriston neighbourhood policing team would like to update the community regarding recent concerns about issues outside the Rheidol Shops in Clase. Following an increase in reports earlier this year, We have undertaken targeted action and partnership work, which has resulted in a very significant decrease in calls to the area for ASB and Youth Disorder.
Officers will continue to conduct regular, High-visibility patrols in the area, and we remain fully committed to dealing robustly with any additional anti social behaviour and disorder. The safety and wellbeing of our community remains at the forefront of our work.
In addition, we are working closely with Swansea Council, who have provided two dedicated youth workers to the CLASE area. They will be present every Wednesday for the foreseeable future, engaging positively with young people and helping steer them away from involvement in anti social behaviour or crime.
We thank the community for their continued support and encourage residents to reports any concerns through appropriate channels such as 101 or 999, Alternatively you can report ASB on www.south-wales.police.uk.
